Lot number: 0630999

Winning bid: £90

This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove".

Another fantastic bottle from the Octomore series and still plenty peaty at 167ppm! This edition is only available at the distillery or in selected travel retail stores. Oh and of course here on Scotch whisky auctions!

Bottle signed by Duncan McGillivary, General Manager at Bruichladdich who retired on the 27th June 2014 following a career that spanned more than 40 years at the distillery.

58.2% ABV / 70cl

Bottle Number: One of 18,000 bottles

Signed by Jim McEwan and Duncan McGillvery
