This was the second, wide scale release of Perpetuum by Ardbeg. Released during the Feis Ile and for Ardbeg Day this has different look and a slightly lower ABV than the one available solely at the distillery.
Despite the lower strength the same notes of dark chocolate, sea-spray and pine resin are still here as is the promise that, "Ardbeg will never be automated or simulated."
This bottle has been engraved with "Ardbeg Day 30.05.2215" and has engraved signatures from Bill Lumsden and Dr Brendan McCarron.
