This special bottling is to celebrate and honour the 1954 Brussel star of excellence. Behind a fantastic story to tell young whisky drinkers. It all start with Herb Fanning Reagor Motlow's right hand.

When a letter came through to Mr Motlow with an invitation to a whisky contest in Brussel he gave the task to Herb. So Herb was to impress the judges with something special. So Herb just walked out to the production line and grabbed 3 bottles to send off. Jack Daniel's advertising department was quite upset and asked him why he didn't want to impress the judges with something special. His response was just a "Why all Jack Daniels is special!"

Later came a letter to Mr Motlow. Informing him that they won the star of excellence.
