The first official bottling of this distillery was in 1990, only three years before the first official bottling of anCnoc. The name change was by recent purchasers Inverhouse who were worried about confusion with another distillery (Knockando).
This 22 year old is a mix of American Bourbon casks and some Spanish Oloroso butts, adding a bit of leathery smokiness to anCnoc's traditionally silky style.
