William Grant founded Balvenie distillery in 1892 using the 18th century mansion known as Balvenie New House. It is built just below Glenfiddich sharing it's Robbie Dhu springs water source. The distillery still uses it's own floor maltings and locally sourced peat.
The new travel retail release from Balvenie Distillery recently unveiled at Edinburgh Airport. This 25 year old has been matured its entire life in three distinct casks; Oloroso Sherry Butts, First Fill Bourbon Barrels and Traditional Whisky casks.
