Glenlivet:

The first distillery to take out a license after the Excise Act of 1823, the distillery was a favourite of King George the IV who demanded nothing but during a visit to Edinburgh in 1821 - three years before it was legal! Glenlivet has given its name to the 'longest valley in Scotland', so called after several distilleries laid claim to the Glenlivet suffix to cash in on the distillery's sterling reputation but only one can call itself The Glenlivet.

The new replacement for the much loved 12 Year Old.

Glenfarclas

Still in family hands since it was founded, the Glenfarclas Distillery is one of Speyside's independent whisky producers. The Grant family have been running Glenfarclas since 1860, producing an individual Speyside malt that many whisky enthusiasts number as one of their favourites. The water source is melt water from the slopes of Ben Rinnes which runs through granite and heather before reaching Glenfarclas(meaning 'the valley of green grass'). With a long history of bottlings stretching back to the early 20th Century, both proprietary and independent.

Glenfarclas has created a Trilogy. "The Legend of Speyside" combines with PASSION, SPRINGS and TEAM as a nod to old family tradition, absolute purity of water and historical practices of Glenfarclas distillery.

The Oloroso casks that give this trilogy its distinctive aroma are produced in the Spanish Cooperage "Jose & Miguel Martin".
