Dalwhinnie is the one of the highest distilleries in Scotland at 1164 feet above sea level. The name Dalwhinnie is derived from Gaelic wordDail-coinneeamh, which means meeting place, referring to the meeting of ancient cattle drovers' routes through the mountains.
Launched in 1997, this 'finished' range from Diageo sees the Classic Malts enhanced in carefully chosen wine casks. These limited release bottlings are a wonderful alternative view of some of the world's best loved whiskies.
