William Grant founded Balvenie distillery in 1892 using the 18th century mansion known as Balvenie New House. It is built just below Glenfiddich, sharing its Robbie Dhu springs water source. The distillery still uses its own floor maltings and locally-sourced peat.
A great malt which is smooth and easy going. Matured in traditional oak casks then given a further few months maturation in sherry casks.
This lot contains a wooden bottle stand for this bottle of Balvenie. There are also a further two spaces available for showing off two more Glenfiddich bottles (which are unfortunately not in this lot)
