Adelphi Ardnamurchan 2016 New Make Peated 10cl & Unpeated 10cl

Spirit began flowing off the still at Ardnamurchan in July 2014, and anticipation of their inaugral release has been steadily growing ever since. The distillery is owned by independent bottlers Adelphi, who have succeeded in their aim of building a "green" distillery - they fulfill their power requirements from local renewables, including electricity from a hydro generator and heat from a biomass boiler fuelled by forestry woodchip. Interestingly, their washbacks are constructed from Cognac vats retrieved from France.
