Nikka 70th Anniversary 12 year Old Blend

Masataka Taketsuru is known as grand father of the Japanese whisky industry. He travelled to Scotland to study Organic Chemistry at University of Glasgow during the summers. Later started working in Hazelburn before it was absorbed by Springbank. Coming back to Japan he helped to establish the first Japanese Whisky Distillery.

This is part of a set that was bottled for the 70th Anniversary of Nikka, consisting of two malts, one grain and this blend containing all the malts and grain.
