Lochside 1966 37 Year Old Jack Wiebers Old Train Line
Lot number: 067-4055
Winning bid: £640
Starting life as a brewery, Lochside was converted into a distillery 200 years later and both grain and malt whiskies were distilled on site. The distillery's output was mostly used for the blended whisky Sandy McNab's and then for Spanish blended whisky when DYC took over in the 1970s. In 1992 the Distillery was mothballed and the buildings were demolished in 2005.
