Distilled in Campbeltown shortly after the Great War, when there were still around 18 other working distilleries in the town, this ultra-rare bottle is a snapshot of a bygone era, with only a handful of bottles surviving.
The fabled "Springbank 1919", this shows the foresight of the Springbank distillery in laying down casks for far longer than many of their contemporaries.
The lot comes with a letter of purchase, signed by the managing director of Eaglesome Ltd, who were the agents of J and A. Mitchell which details the distillation date of this fantastic bottle.
