This bottle of Japanese whisky comes from the Sasanokawa Shuzo company and is located in the Fukushima prefecture. Yamazakura distillery itself was closed/merged in 1998. You might be thinking ''Hey! how come it is only a 15 year old?'' That is because some of the whisky was stored in alternative containers for a while before getting finished in Sherry casks. But still some of the malt in this bottle is up to 20 years old. This is one of the few official releases bearing the name ''Yamazakura''
