Lot number: 068-1473

Winning bid: £100

Selected by Master Distiller Robert Scott, formerly of Speyside Distillery, this whisky has been bottled at cask strength without being chill filtered. Scott's Selection was voted the Best Independent Bottler in 2008.

Glendullan was the last of the 7 original distilleries to be built in Dufftown (the total is now 9, although there are a number of silent distilleries in that number.) The original distillery had 2 stills and was largely demolished and rebuilt next door in the 1970s. It's weathered over 100 years of production in its various guises. Predominantly used for blends, there are only a handful of single malt releases, including this one.

Distilled: 1981

Bottled: 1996

60.4% ABV / 70cl
