In 1826 the exuberant and extroverted James Allardice founded the distillery and produced his 'Guid GlenDronach' single malt. There was a period where the distillery was mothballed between 1996 and 2002. However in 2008, nothing less than a complete renaissance began. The BenRiach Distillery Company became GlenDronach's proud new owner.
This bottle has been released for the Professional Danish Whisky Retailers.
Part of the unofficially named "Star Wars" collection (Green = Yoda, Blue = Luke, Black = Darth Vader) which were released exclusively for the Danish market.
