Built in 1819 as the Clynelish distillery, Brora has gained a huge following especially for its whisky produced between 1969 - 1973 when the spirit was heavily peated. Closed in 1983 the buildings and equipment remain intact should this much loved distillery wish to return to the land of the living.
A well-loved regular of Diageo's Special Releases, single malt from the closed Brora distillery is hugely sought after by connoisseurs and collectors alike.
