Lot number: 068-2068

Winning bid: £230

The distillery sits in the dry county of Moore, Tennessee. It's not available for consumption in local stores or restaurants within the county, but this doesn't stop it being the highest selling American Whiskey in the world.

Even though the product meets criteria for calcification as a bourbon, the company prefer to market their brand as Tennessee Sour Mash whiskey.

This is part of a series of special edition releases, celebrating the history of America's oldest (legitimate) distillery. This particular bottle celebrates their first foray into the European market. In 1905 this new kid on the block, won the gold medal in Liege, Belgium.

43% ABV / 1 Litre
