In 1826 the exuberant and extroverted James Allardice founded the distillery and produced his 'Guid GlenDronach' single malt. There was a period where the distillery was mothballed between 1996 and 2002. However in 2008, nothing less than a complete renaissance began. The BenRiach Distillery Company became GlenDronach's proud new owner, which in turn was bought over by Jack Daniel's in 2016.
A limited release for Denmark. Finished in the Premier Cru Superior Sauternes wine barrels for around 6-months
