The distillery was founded in Cambus, near Alloa, in 1806 by John Moubray. It changed over to the patent still in the 1830's and joined the Distillers Company in 1877. The distillery was closed down in 1993.
Bottled as part of the Clan Denny range from Hunter Hamilton.
