The Old Particular series from Douglas Laing includes hand-selected single malt and grain whiskies sourced over the length and breadth of Scotland. These malts are unchillfiltered and bottled straight from the cask without any colour added to the whisky.
Established in 1775, Glenturret is considered the oldest working distillery in Scotland, although there are some who dispute this. It is also home to some of the most traditional working practices in Scotland. For example, it has the only mash tun that has to be stirred by hand. It is also the home of the Famous Grouse Experience Visitor Centre which is one of the most modern and highly thought of tourist attractions in the whisky world.
