Although a relative youngster - the distillery started production on the 17th of August 1995 - this distillery has quickly won an army of fans that have been drawn to the quality of the whisky produced in the shadow of the nesting site of a pair of golden eagles.
At their 2012 Distillery Open Day a masterclass was held to select the
cask which would become the 2013 Festival Bottling.
Cask number 1997-519 is a 16 year old first fill Sherry Hogshead and was voted as displaying the perfect balance of fruit, sweetness and spice that are the hallmarks of The Arran Malt.
