Named for The Hudson Bay Company, who started off as fur traders in Canada in the 17th Century, and have since grown and diversified to become a multi national behemoth boasting Saks Fifth Avenue, amongst others, as one of their divisions.
This whisky is produced by Hill Thomson & Co, a subsidiary of The Glenlivet Distillers Ltd. Our best guess is that this particular bottle dates from around the 1950s.
