Sandeman 20 Year Old Tawny Port 75cl

Sandeman’s 20 year old Tawny is produced in the traditional port wine method, with all the grapes being hand picked and undergoing stalk removal and crushing before fermentation, under controlled temperatures. Wine alcohol is added but at the precise moment otherwise the port will be unbalanced between body and bouquet.

Much like the 10 year old Tawny, the harvested wines stay in the Douro Valley until the following spring when they are taken to V.N.Gaia and enter the Sandeman’s centuries-old lodges for ageing in oak wood casks. The final blend consists of carefully chosen wines aged between 15 and 40 years, masterfully combined so as to maintain Sandeman’s 20 year old Tawny’s unique identity and style.
