William Grant founded Balvenie distillery in 1892 using the 18th century mansion known as Balvenie New House. It is built just below Glenfiddich, sharing its Robbie Dhu springs water source. The distillery still uses its own floor maltings and locally-sourced peat.
These four miniatures are the new 17 year old DoubleWood. Still aged in traditional American oak barrels and then transferred into European Oak sherry casks. The extra 5 years maturation have transformed the already great 12 year old, giving it deep vanilla notes and a great richness.
