The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has its own floor maltings which make up about 30% of its requirements. Its No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.
An outstanding 38 Year Old Bowmore that was distilled on the 14th January 1957 and housed at the famous No 1 Vaults at the distillery. Scored a whopping 93 points with WhiskyFun and comes in a stunning presentation case.
