Built by drystone dyker Alex Fairlie, Speyside was only commissioned in 1962 and finished in 1976. It wasn't until 1991 that the first spirit flowed from the stills and yet in a very short time it has become the third best selling single malt in Taiwan.
So this lot is a real rarity - an independently bottled Speyside single malt! This bottle comes from the Carn Mor range, bottled by the Scottish Liqueur Centre.
This Strictly Limited release was bottled at 16 years old with an outturn of 582 bottles.
