Bladnoch distillery has had many owners since being founded in 1817. Most recently it was mothballled in 1993 and sold in 1994 to the Armstrong brothers from Northern Ireland.
The distillery was put up for sale again in March 2014 and was bought by Australian entrepreneur David Prior in 2015.
