The range is named after Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the creator of Hanyu distillery. Although the distillery was dismantled in 2004, Ichiro saved the remaining 400 casks. This whisky comes from one of the final 400 casks and has been finished in Mizunara Wood, more commonly known over here as Japanese Oak.
This Hanyu is named "The Game". It was bottled exclusively for Shinanoya Shop in Japan and this is the 5th release.
