The Bordeaux wine region in France is home to some of the most famous appellations in the country - St Emilion, Pauillac, Pomerol and Sauternes to name a few. Within these geographical designations lie some of the most famous and revered wineries in the world.
This Pauillac, from the left bank of the River Gironde, was classified as a Second Grand Cru Classe in Napoleon III's Bordeaux Classification of 1855.
