Lot number: 073-2538

Winning bid: £80

In 1972, the Tobermory distillery was reopened after more than 40 years of silence. Although for a while all spirit produced was peated and called Ledaig, this changed soon enough and it became the name given to all peated malt produced at this distillery. It is only now becoming widely available as a single malt due to renewed investment and promotion by its owners.

This was a short-lived, and now discontinued, bottling from the Mull-based distillery, named for the small island of Iona which lies a short ferry-hop away.

40% ABV / 70cl

Please note condition of carton and label, and the box features a misprinted spelling of "Scotland".
