The Bordeaux wine region in France is home to some of the most famous appellations in the country - St Emilion, Pauillac, Pomerol and Sauternes to name a few. Within these geographical designations lie some of the most famous and revered wineries in the world.
Chateau La Croix is produced by the Janoueix Family on a small area of only 10 hectares giving a yield of around 45 barrels. This is regarded as the centrepiece of their land producing one of their finest wines.
A renowned wine from the Pessac-Leognan appelation, Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte is owned by former French Olympic skier Daniel Cathiard. His production on the estate since 1990 has continued the prestigious name and reputation of these vineyards.
