In 1869 the Ripy brothers opened their distillery on Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Wild Turkey Bourbon got its name in 1940 when distillery executive Thomas McCarthy took samples of the bourbon on a wild turkey hunting trip.
Wild Turkey Rare Breed is a blend of bourbon which has been aged for 6 - 12 years and bottled at barrel proof (108.4). We approve!
