The Bordeaux wine region in France is home to some of the most famous appellations in the country - St Emilion, Pauillac, Pomerol and Sauternes to name a few. Within these geographical designations lie some of the most famous and revered wineries in the world.
Pessac-Leognan is the home to the most famous Chateaux in the Graves region. Of these Chateau Haut-Brion is arguably the most famous of all.
A neighbour of Pauillac, Saint-Julien is one of the smaller appellations on the left bank. Chateau Leoville-Les Cases was classified as one of the Deuxiemes Crus or Second Growths in the original Bordeaux Wine classification of 1855.
