Chateau Angelus 2001 Premier Grand Cru Classe St. Emilion

The Bordeaux wine region in France is home to some of the most famous appellations in the country - St Emilion, Pauillac, Pomerol and Sauternes to name a few. Within these geographical designations lie some of the most famous and revered wineries in the world.

This 2001 vintage from Chateau Angelus, known as L'Elegance is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc and was produced in their vineyards surrounded by the three St Emilion churches hence the iconic bell on the label.
