This bottle from Ardbeg has been released to raise money for the Kildalton Project and is not to be confused with Kildalton 1980!
This is a charity bottling for the Kildalton Project which is part of the North Highland Initiative. This charity's aim is to support fragile communities across the northern highlands and around Scotland.
The label and the box both bears the Kildalton cross. The Kildalton cross is a monolithic high cross located on Islay's coast at a ruined church. Carved in 800AD.
This bottle has been signed by distillery manager, Mickey Heads.
