Berry Bros & Rudd are the oldest wine and spirit merchant in Britain, operating from the same premises in London's St James St since being founded by the Widow Bourne in 1698.

Rated top class by blenders, Glenlossie distillery is rarely seen as a single malt for just this very reason. The spirit stills use a 'purifier' between the lyne arm and the condensers. This returns some of the alcohol vapours for re-distillation resulting in a light delicate whisky. With the introduction of the railways, the distillery was busy enough to have its own stop on the Perth to Elgin line.
