Glen Garioch is the most easterly distillery in Scotland and despite being one of the oldest, it has never been afraid of innovation. It has used the heat of distillation to grow tomatoes, and rumour has it, even kiwi fruit!, and it was the first distillery to use North Sea gas. It was also among the first to release a Virgin Oak whisky as well as bottling its core range at 48% ABV with no chill filtration.
This is an exclusive bottling for the independent Dutch bottlers of Kintra Whisky, under their Single Cask Collection.
