Caol Ila 1980 30 Year Old Duncan Taylor Octaves for Sagna

The largest distillery on Islay, Caol Ila sits on the Sound of Islay overlooking the picturesque island of Jura. Most of Caol Ila ends up in blends, but it also produces a wide variety of peated and un-peated single malt expressions.

This was bottled by Duncan Taylor & Company, whch presides over the ownership of one of the largest privately-held collections of Scotch whisky casks. Its headquarters are in the North East of Scotland, close to Speyside and it has the complete control of the entire production process, from cask selection and management, through “in-house” product and packaging design to its own “under bond” bottling facilities.

This was a bottling especially selected by Sagna.
