Bowmore 12 Year Old Bottled to Commemorate 1st Open Day 2010

The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has its own floor maltings which make up about 30% of its requirements. Its No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.

This 12 year old has been bottled to commemorate the first annual Bowmore Open Day on that was held on 09.10.2010.
