Hello and welcome! Hard to believe it's that time of the month already, but here we are, Live again with another epic auction for you lucky people.
As usual star bottles abound, and the only way to truly experience the extent of what's on offer is to dive in, with a dram in hand, and have a browse. Before you do though, here are a few of our favourites to whet your appetites.
We can't think of a better place to kick things off than with Karuizawa. The apex of a trio of releases all distilled in 1965, this 50 Year Old is one of only 60 bottles produced to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky. A vatting of the two single cask releases, one Sherry and and one Bourbon, surely these must be the ultimate prize for collectors of this legendary Japanese distillery.
There's plenty of stellar Scotches too. For Talisker Fans this 12 Year Old was distilled in the 1940s, and is certainly worthy of the term "liquid history"! Or, if you prefer your Taliskers to come with part of a boat included, this 34 Year Old Single Cask bottling is the one for you.
With the Feis Ile imminent we'd be remiss if we didn't highlight a few Islay heavyweights.
Pitting this Sherry matured Ardbeg 1967 Glenscoma against its Old Malt Cask cousin would make for a real clash of the titans at any tasting. Not to mention this pair of Samaroli bottlings from Bunnahabhain and Lagavulin.
If you're a sucker for a Speysider, this 1953 Glenfarclas Single Cask that yielded only 97 bottles will get your mouth watering. Or if Macallan is more your style then we have a rather lovely 1940s Gordon & MacPhail bottling.
The scale of this auction is simply staggering, and we've got something for every taste and every budget.
So, get involved!
... And remember, Don't Lose Your Bottle!
