Linkwood has been operating for nearly 200 years and enjoys a very high reputation amongst blenders for its light fragrant style that is twinned with a thick texture in the mouth. This is achieved with long fermentations, 75 hours , and slow distillation in spirit stills that are larger than the wash stills so they can maximise the contact with the copper.
These three 26 year old bottles were matured for 12 years in identical refill American oak barrels, before being finished off for 14 years in three different casks, at cask strength.
