The most northerly of Scottish whisky distilleries, Highland Park was founded in 1798 and is one of the most highly regarded single malts in the world, the great Michael Jackson calling it, "The greatest all-rounder in the world of whisky." and Paul Pacult awarded it, "The Best Spirit in the World." in 2005. The unique peat of Orkney gives the whisky a distinctive heathery sweetness.
This fourth and final release in the Valhalla range. Odin is the god of battle, wisdom and sorcery. The one eyed god is renown for his two ravens, Huginn and Muninn. His two messengers and also his temper.
The packaging is pretty unique in that it's a wooden frame styled after the prow of a Viking longboat which is hinged to allow easy access to the bottle.
