Built to provide whisky for the Teacher's blend in 1898, this Highlander's main production is a peated whisky, but there is also a non-peated version called Ardlair (Ardless is its nickname) which accounts for around 40% of its output.
A young peated Speysider from the excellent Ardmore distillery, Ardmore traditional Cask has been finished in quarter casks to speed up maturation.
Gold Medal in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.
