Glen Fraser 21 Year Old

Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail has been bottling single malt whiskies for 120 years and by the 1950s it held the largest range of bottled malt whiskies in the world. This family-run business has bottled the oldest single malt whisky in the world as well as being a distiller itself after buying Benromach in 1993.

This bottle is somewhat of a mystery. Despite the implication of being a Single Malt on the label, this is reputedly a vatting of Glenfarclas, Macallan and Royal Brackla created by Strathnairn blenders in Inverness, and released by Gordon & MacPhail for the far east market during the early 1990s.
