Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distills, matures and bottles its whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms. Since its renaissance in 2001 its range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filtration and at 46% ABV and above. It is a pioneer of cask management, peating levels and presentation.

This "final act of creation" from Bruichladdich's flamboyany, former Master Distillery, Jim McEwan. Bottled at 52% to celebrate his 52 years in the whisky industry, and signed by the man himself.
