Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distills, maturse and bottles its whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms. Since its renaissance in 2001 its range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filtration and at 46% ABV and above. It is a pioneer of cask management, peating levels and presentation.

An exploratory series of casks, specifically selected to examine the evolutionary influences on maturing Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky - the variables of age, vintage, wood, barley, storage location, humidity, heat and climate - the very essence of provenance.
