A single cask of twenty year-old cask-strength (60%!) Yamazaki matured in a Mizunara butt. Mizunara is also known as Quercus Mongolica, meaning this has been fully matured in new Japanese oak from the Shiretoko peninsula.
This one was bottled to mark the 50th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky in Paris.
