Forester has a rather interesting and important history for the Bourbon history. Forester was founded by George Rogers Clark in 1778. Usually in the 1800s bourbon were sold by the barrel rather than today standard of by the bottle. This changed in 1870 by the Forester brand launching their range in sealed glass bottles to ensure the quality of the whiskey.
This is a special edition bottling to celebrate the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in Georgia.
