Lot number: 083-6291

Winning bid: £2,300

With its distinctive square bottle, the label angled precisely at 24° and the iconic Striding Man Johnnie Walker is the world's best selling Scotch Whisky. It was created in Kilmarnock in 1865 and is now available in almost every country in the world. Between 1906 & 1909 John Walker's grandsons introduced the colour names which the bottles still bare to this day, including the launch of their Black Label, which was originally identified as Walker's Special Old Highland.

Alexander Walker created this as a whisky premium, with this particular bottle being blended in 1910 - that's over 100 year old whisky! An iconic and historical dram indeed!

Age: 12 Years Old
