Carsebridge distillery was founded as a malt distillery in 1799 and converted into a grain distillery in the 1840s. It had seen some changes over the next few decades, with refitting, modernising and expanding. By 1980 it was the largest grain distillery in Scotland. It closed its doors in 1983 and was demolished in 1992.
This Carsebridge single grain whisky has been bottled as part of Hunter Laing's The Sovereign range.
